Naira Stories Magazine (nairastories.com) is thrilled to announce a call for submissions for the third issue of its print publication.
Timeline:
Submissions open on September 1st, 2026 and close on October 30th, 2026.
Publication is in January.

We are interested in the following literary genres:
Fiction (3000 – 5000)
Nonfiction/memoir/essay (3000 – 5000)
Interview (2000 – 3000)
Poetry (two poems, each not more than 25 lines)
Anything outside these specifications and word limits would be disregarded.
Only one entry per author. Entries must be in English and must be original and unpublished in any form.
Entries must be formatted in Times New Roman 12-point font, with 1.5 line spacing. The text of the story should be justified.
Entries must be in a Microsoft Word (MS) document. The header of the document must bear the story title, the author’s name, and the page numbers. Only poetry should be left-aligned.
Remuneration:
We regret that we may not be able to pay our valuable print contributors. However, each contributor will receive two complimentary copies of the magazine and also online publications of their work.
