DJ Cuppy, Otedolas

“We’re the Otedolas” DJ Cuppy thanks God for family, says it’s reason to “make it big”

Florence Otedola, popularly known as DJ Cuppy, has taken to her official LinkedIn page to share a group photograph of her family with her parents, her siblings, and herself in it, all in a cerebral mood and exquisitely dressed in African attire.

The daughter of the billionaire and philanthropist Femi Otedola, in the viral post, stressed that it is important to put family first in everything because, at the end of the day, careers come and go, but family is forever.

Commenting on the picture and thanking God for her family, she wrote, “Standing with my family in this moment reminds me that true legacy is not just about what we achieve; it is about who we build it with and who we leave it for. That is how you truly make it big.”

In another recent post, the DJ posted another personal picture where she was wearing an African attire. Commenting on the picture, she stated that it is important to represent where one comes from.

She asked, “Why do I think repping where you’re from is important? I’m pretty sure being unforgettable starts with being unapologetically yourself.”

Still on the personal picture, she admitted that she did not go to London to blend in, adding, “I came to turn heads. Naija style: bold and proud. People stared… and I smiled. That’s the whole point. I am loud. Loud in purpose. Loud in pride.”

DJ Cuppy noted that “When you know where you’re from and you wear it with confidence, you don’t just enter rooms. You take over!”

She also commented on her sister’s recent wedding, describing it as the wedding of the century.

The DJ added that celebrating love is important because being part of it reminds her that the biggest W’s in life are not just about careers, that they are about people and the moments that fill our hearts.

“I’m especially invested because I actually introduced the couple. It is such an honour to stand by my sister and watch her have the wedding of the century!” she added.
