Nollywood actors Stan Nze and Blessing Obasi have renewed their wedding vows as they marked five years of marriage, celebrating the milestone with an intimate ceremony attended by loved ones.
The couple, who got married in 2021, returned to their wedding outfits for the anniversary celebration and reaffirmed their commitment to each other. They shared moments from the ceremony in a joint Instagram post, offering fans a glimpse of the occasion and reflecting on the journey they have shared since becoming husband and wife.
For Stan, the anniversary was another opportunity to publicly express his commitment to Blessing.
In his message accompanying the video, the actor said that if he had another opportunity to make the decision, he would choose his wife repeatedly, describing her affectionately as his “sweetness” and “ride or die.”
“If I had to choose again, I would choose you over and over again. Chinomso M. My sweetness. My ride or die. I love you forever. Happy Anniversary to us, baby,” Stan wrote.
Blessing also reflected on their five years together, placing faith and gratitude at the centre of her anniversary message. The actress thanked God for sustaining their marriage and described continuing to share her life with her husband as an experience for which she remains deeply grateful.
“This is 5! What a ride. I have no words other than gratitude to God, our anchor, our rock and our refuge,” she wrote.
She added that waking up and continuing life with Stan beside her remained both a dream and a reality she would always appreciate.
The actress went further to celebrate the kind of relationship they have built, praising her husband for the love and companionship he has shown throughout their marriage. She described his love as Christlike and expressed pride in being his wife.
