Seyi Tinubu

President Tinubu’s son, Seyi, turns 40

Nigerians have celebrated Seyi Tinubu, son of President Bola Tinubu, as he clocked 40.

Seyi, known for his involvement in youth empowerment and community development through various philanthropic initiatives, marked his birthday on Sunday.

The series of tributes began early Sunday when President Tinubu personally penned an emotional message to his son, describing him as “a focused, courageous, and humble man who continues to make his family and the nation proud.”

In a message released by the presidency, President Bola Tinubu praised Seyi for his leadership qualities and commitment to nation-building.

“From an early age, you have shown a strong desire to create and lead. You have turned ideas into institutions and challenges into opportunities,” the president said.

He added that Seyi’s success was not just in his business ventures but in his desire to “build, serve, and uplift others.”

Barely 24 hours later, Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu joined the list of well-wishers, describing Seyi Tinubu as “an industrious and compassionate Nigerian whose life continues to inspire young people.”

In a statement signed by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Gboyega Akosile, the governor commended Seyi’s philanthropic initiatives, noting his contributions to youth development and community upliftment across Nigeria.

“On behalf of my family, the government, and people of Lagos State, I extend my warmest congratulations to Seyi Tinubu on his 40th birthday,” Sanwo-Olu stated.

He further prayed for Seyi’s continued progress, saying, “As he steps into a new decade, may his path be marked by deeper impact and divine grace.”

Following the president’s and governor’s tributes, several youth organisations and business communities took to social media to celebrate Seyi Tinubu, commending his role in youth mentorship and entrepreneurship.

Leaders of the Noella Foundation and Loatsad Promomedia, where Seyi has played significant roles, praised his “visionary contributions to youth innovation and economic empowerment.”

Political allies and friends also organised private events in Lagos and Abuja to honour the celebrant, recognising his service to humanity and commitment to the Tinubu family legacy.

Family members, including his wife, Layal Tinubu, and close associates, shared heartfelt messages celebrating his achievements as a husband, father, and humanitarian.

Seyi Tinubu, a lawyer and entrepreneur, has long been involved in initiatives promoting youth inclusion and leadership development.

He co-founded Noella Foundation and has led several campaigns advocating responsible citizenship among Nigerian youths.
