Popular TikTok creator Hamzat Habeeb Adelaja, widely known as Peller, has announced strict attendance plans for his upcoming white wedding, saying he wants only between 80 and 100 invited guests at the ceremony scheduled for August 8.
The content creator made the declaration in a video shared online, explaining that the decision followed the large presence of bloggers and other uninvited attendees at his traditional wedding celebration.
Speaking in the video, Peller expressed disappointment that bloggers appeared to outnumber his guests during the traditional ceremony.
He questioned how many media personalities gained access to the event and alleged that some people purchased the wedding aso ebi mainly to attend and record videos rather than celebrate with the couple.
He stated that he does not want bloggers present at the white wedding, insisting that the event should remain intimate.
According to Peller, the heavy presence of cameras and phones at the traditional celebration distracted from the occasion and influenced his decision to reduce the guest list. He maintained that only a carefully selected group of family members and close associates would be allowed to attend the white wedding, which is expected to take place on Saturday, August 8.
The latest announcement comes shortly after Peller and his wife, Jarvis, concluded their traditional wedding festivities. Ahead of the ceremony, the couple shared their final pre-wedding photographs on social media, accompanied by a message stating that they had stopped counting down to their wedding day and were beginning a new chapter together.
The social media personality has also spoken publicly about his honeymoon plans. During a recent livestream, Peller disclosed that he intends to visit eight different countries with his wife after their wedding celebrations.
Their journey to marriage began in June when Peller proposed to Jarvis during an intimate beachside setting at La Palm Royal Beach Hotel in Ghana. The emotional proposal ended with Jarvis accepting the engagement as she shed tears of joy, a moment that quickly attracted attention across social media platforms.
Only a week after the proposal, Peller travelled to Benin City, where he officially paid Jarvis’ bride price during their traditional introduction. Sharing footage from the family event, he described it as the beginning of a beautiful journey and expressed appreciation to both families for supporting their union and giving them their blessings.
