Popular Nigerian TikTok couple Habeeb Hamzat, better known as Peller, and Amadou Elizabeth Aminata, popularly known as Jarvis, have announced that they are expecting their first child.
The couple shared the news on Thursday through a joint post on their verified Instagram accounts.
Peller and Jarvis accompanied the announcement with photographs reflecting on their journey as a couple.
They said their relationship had taken them through moments of laughter, tears, prayers, and personal growth before reaching the stage of becoming husband and wife — and, now, soon-to-be parents.
“From two people who once had no idea where this journey would take us to husband and wife, and now soon-to-be parents,” the couple wrote in their joint post.
“We’ve laughed, we’ve cried, we’ve prayed, we’ve grown, and through it all, God kept writing our story,” they added.
The couple expressed excitement about welcoming their child, describing the pregnancy as the latest and most beautiful chapter of their relationship.
They also credited God for the journey and described the baby as a blessing and an answered prayer.
“Today, we get to share the most beautiful chapter yet. A little piece of our love is coming into this world. Our greatest blessing. Our answered prayer,” they said.
Peller and Jarvis further celebrated the transition from being a couple to becoming parents, ending their message with gratitude for what they described as more than they could have asked for.
“Peller & Jarvis… and now, a little one on the way. God, thank You for everything. This is more than we could ever ask for,” they added.
The pregnancy announcement comes after the couple had previously faced speculation about their relationship and plans to start a family.
