Nollywood actress Nkechi Blessing Sunday and Big Brother Naija (BBNaija) winner Phyna are set to take their social media feud to the boxing ring on October 1.
The two entertainers will face off in a celebrity boxing bout titled ‘Chaos in the Ring’, scheduled to take place at the Federal Palace Hotel in Lagos and is expected to be broadcast live on DAZN and SuperSport.
Nkechi announced the fight on Friday through her Instagram page, sharing a promotional poster for the event featuring herself and Phyna.
The actress also appeared confident about her chances of defeating Phyna, challenging the reality star to back her with money.
She wrote, “E don burst… @unusualphyna you don’t want to go this route with me. Put your money on me sha cus na sure odd. I no want talk too much till October 1st.”
The upcoming bout follows a series of public exchanges between the two celebrities on social media, with their disagreement attracting attention from their respective fans.
Their feud has played out publicly online, with both personalities addressing aspects of the disagreement as their exchanges continued.
Details of the rules, weight categories and other arrangements for the celebrity boxing contest have not been disclosed.
