Nollywood actress and filmmaker Nkechi Blessing Sunday has become the latest public figure to join the viral Hallelujah Challenge, stirring emotional reactions after she offered a moving prayer for women believing God for the gift of motherhood.
The popular actress shared photos of herself wearing a symbolic baby bump as part of the theme “Dress Like Your Miracle”, which has taken social media by storm.
The trend, inspired by gospel minister Nathaniel Bassey, urges believers to dress and act in faith according to the miracles they are expecting, ranging from childbirth to marriage, career success, healing, and financial breakthroughs.
Nkechi’s post, shared on her verified Instagram account, reflected a message of hope and faith in action.
Alongside her photos, she wrote: “Dress like your miracle. You shall sing a new song. I am using this moment to pray for every TTC woman out there. Before the end of this year, you shall receive that which you have been praying to God for, and when it comes, you shall carry it to term and deliver safely.”
The emotional message immediately resonated with thousands of women and men across Nigeria and beyond. Many of her followers filled the comment section with words of faith, prayers, and testimonies.
One follower wrote, “By this time next year, we will rejoice with you.”
Another commented, “Amen and Amen. Bless us with the fruit of the womb, Lord Jesus.”
The Hallelujah Challenge, first introduced by Nathaniel Bassey in 2017, began as a midnight worship and praise session held on Instagram and has since grown into one of the most influential online faith movements in the world.
This year’s challenge, themed ‘Dress Like Your Miracle’, has taken the movement further by adding a visible expression of faith. Participants are encouraged to physically represent what they are trusting God for.
Many women have appeared online with baby bumps, others in wedding gowns, business suits, or professional uniforms that represent their desired future.
Nkechi Blessing’s participation brought a wave of celebrity attention to the current edition. Beyond her social media post, she encouraged her followers to stay positive, hold on to hope, and never stop visualising their miracles.
“Sometimes, the first step to your testimony is seeing yourself in that answered prayer,” she said.
She also used the opportunity to promote her latest film project, Mi O Jebi, now streaming on Nkechi Blessing TV, describing it as “a project that carries both entertainment and inspiration.”
She added that part of her mission as a filmmaker is to create content that uplifts people and reminds them that faith and determination can transform lives.
