Veteran Nollywood actor Yinka Quadri has revealed how his wife accommodated and fed some female colleagues he was romantically involved with, even when she knew about their relationships.
The actor made the disclosure during an interview with African A List, offering insight into how his wife handled his relationships with women in the film industry without confronting those involved.
In a snippet of the interview, Quadri explained that some actresses he dated would visit his wife to gossip about his relationships with other women, despite being romantically involved with him themselves.
According to the veteran actor, his wife was aware of the situation but chose not to engage in confrontations with the women.
Quadri said his wife’s response to the situation extended beyond simply avoiding arguments. He disclosed that some of the actresses visited their home after late-night film productions, where his wife welcomed them, provided food and ensured they were taken care of, despite knowing about their romantic involvement with him.
The actor recounted how jealousy sometimes prompted female colleagues to approach his wife with information about his relationships. However, he noted that some of those who reported his affairs were themselves among the women he was dating at the time.
Quadri is among the veteran figures in the Nigerian film industry, particularly in the Yoruba movie sector. Over the years, he has remained a recognisable presence in Nollywood, with his career and relationships with fellow actors attracting public interest.
