Nollywood actress and filmmaker Iyabo Ojo has described her motherhood journey as a testimony of God’s greatness while encouraging mothers facing difficulties to remain hopeful.
The actress shared the reflection on Instagram alongside photos of herself with her two children and grandchild, highlighting the journey she has experienced as a mother.
Ojo said that looking back at where she started has made her recognise how far she has come. According to the actress, her personal experience represents hope for people going through difficult circumstances and serves as encouragement to mothers who are raising their children alone despite the challenges they face.
The actress specifically addressed struggling mothers, urging them not to give up in difficult moments. She assured them that challenging circumstances can change and encouraged them to hold on because, in her words, “there is light at the end of the tunnel.”
Reflecting on her experience, Ojo described motherhood as a beautiful journey and expressed gratitude for what she considers God’s role in bringing her through the different stages of her life.
“Motherhood is indeed a beautiful journey. When I look back at where I started, I can only say, Alice Iyabo, you are a testimony to God’s greatness,” she wrote in the Instagram post.
She urged mothers currently experiencing difficulties to remain patient and continue pushing forward rather than allowing their circumstances to make them lose hope.
The actress has previously spoken publicly about aspects of her family life and motherhood, including matters involving her children and family relationships.
Ojo concluded her message with a direct reassurance to struggling mothers: “To every struggling mother reading this: Hold on, there is light at the end of the tunnel.”

Big Brother Naija (BBNaija) reality star Phyna has sparked controversy after questioning the reported death of relationship therapist Blessing CEO’s son and demanding proof before offering her condolences.
In a video shared online, Phyna said Blessing CEO would need to provide evidence of the child’s death because of what she described as the therapist’s previous history of allegedly misleading the public.
Phyna questioned how members of the public were expected to sympathise with Blessing CEO over the reported loss when they could not independently confirm the claim.
She went as far as asking Blessing to share a photograph of the deceased child, saying she did not want to offer condolences if the report was not genuine.
The reality star’s comments followed reports that Blessing CEO had lost her second son while she was being remanded in prison. The development had attracted public attention, with the CEO of Isaamira Love Foundation reportedly seeking donations on Blessing’s behalf. Blessing subsequently addressed the fundraising effort during a video call with actress Doris Ogala.
During the call, Blessing issued a disclaimer concerning the donation drive, stating that she had not authorised anyone to solicit funds on her behalf. According to the report, she also said that she should be the person to announce the news of her son’s passing.
Phyna’s reaction has added another layer to the controversy surrounding the reported loss, coming against the backdrop of previous disagreements between the two women.
Their history includes public exchanges over wigs, alleged comments about Benin women, and other issues that have played out on social media.
In 2025, Blessing CEO criticised Phyna over an Afro wig the reality star wore during an interview. She reportedly offered to buy Phyna a new wig, describing the reality star’s collection negatively.
The disagreement followed another confrontation in 2024, when Blessing repeatedly mocked Phyna over a controversy involving a borrowed wig.
