Osun State Governor, Ademola Adeleke, on Saturday received popular TikTok content creator, Peller, at the Government House as part of the influencer’s ongoing tour across Nigeria.
Peller’s visit to Osun followed his earlier stop at Obafemi Awolowo University, after which he proceeded to meet the governor in a brief engagement that included conversations and photo sessions.
The highlight of the visit was a lively moment where Governor Adeleke and his guest shared a dance session to a song by Davido, who is the governor’s nephew, reflecting the state leader’s well-known passion for music and dance.
The meeting forms part of Peller’s ambitious tour of 20 states across the country, which commenced on March 6.
Since the start of the journey, the TikToker has visited several locations, including Oyo, Ekiti and the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja, engaging fans and creating content along the way.
His Osun stopover attracted attention both online and offline, with supporters praising the governor’s openness to youth-driven digital culture and creative engagement. The visit also underscores the growing influence of social media personalities in shaping conversations and connecting with public figures across different sectors.
However, the tour has not been without controversy. During his visit to Benin, Peller faced criticism from the traditional institution, as the palace of the Oba of Benin accused him of breaching established protocols.
The matter reportedly escalated to the point where he was summoned to appear before a committee of chiefs.
Despite the backlash, the content creator has maintained that his activities in Benin were properly authorised, insisting that there was no deliberate attempt to disrespect the revered institution or its customs.
Observers note that Peller’s nationwide tour reflects the evolving landscape of entertainment and youth engagement in Nigeria, where digital creators are increasingly gaining recognition and access to high-profile platforms.
His interactions with political leaders, students and local communities highlight a blending of governance, entertainment and digital influence.
Governor Adeleke’s reception of the TikToker further reinforces his public image as a leader who embraces pop culture and youth expression. Known for his energetic personality and frequent dance displays at public events, the governor’s participation in the moment added a cultural and social dimension to the visit.
As Peller continues his tour across the remaining states, attention is expected to remain on his engagements, particularly in how they intersect with local traditions, governance structures and Nigeria’s rapidly expanding digital entertainment space.
