The BBNaija Season 10 reunion episode in Lagos has reignited intense tensions among former housemates, with emotional confrontations, conflicting narratives, and unresolved disputes dominating discussions as attention shifts toward the upcoming Season 11 of the reality show.
Hosted by Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, the reunion brought back familiar rivalries and post-show relationships that continued to generate controversy long after the original season ended, particularly between Victory and Gigi Jasmine.
The second night of the reunion saw one of its most heated exchanges between Victory and Gigi Jasmine, whose post-house relationship became the centre of discussion. Both former housemates confirmed that they maintained contact after leaving the BBNaija house, but their accounts of what transpired between them differed sharply.
While Victory accused Gigi of being manipulative and inconsistent in her communication, Gigi dismissed his interpretation of events, describing his claims as exaggerated and misleading.
Their confrontation quickly escalated into a tense back-and-forth that drew strong reactions from viewers, especially on social media, where clips from the episode circulated widely.
Victory’s remarks during the exchange also reignited previous criticism of his conduct during the season, with some viewers revisiting earlier allegations of misogynistic behaviour. The exchange further deepened the divide between supporters of both former housemates, each defending their preferred narrative of the relationship.
Beyond the confrontation between Victory and Gigi Jasmine, the reunion also revisited the strained relationship between Dede and Kola. Dede arrived prepared with what she described as evidence of inconsistent behaviour from Kola, particularly his public remarks about her.
She questioned his repeated reference to her in dismissive terms during televised moments, despite what she claimed were private attempts to resolve their differences outside the show.
Kola, however, maintained that Dede’s claims were being overstated, insisting that his comments had been misinterpreted and taken out of context. Despite his defence, Dede stood her ground, accusing him of attempting to reshape public perception of their interactions.
The disagreement highlighted ongoing tensions between the two, suggesting that their differences remain unresolved even after the conclusion of the show.
Another storyline that drew attention involved Jason Jae and Sultana, who addressed the ambiguity surrounding their relationship during the season. Both former housemates clarified that while they shared a close bond and enjoyed each other’s company in the house, there was never any formal romantic commitment between them.
Their explanation appeared aimed at correcting public assumptions that had persisted since the show ended.
Sultana in particular received praise from viewers for her composed delivery during the discussion, as she firmly rejected claims that she had pursued Jason Jae romantically. Her calm response contrasted with the more heated exchanges elsewhere in the reunion, offering a moment of restraint amid the broader emotional intensity of the episode.
