Former Big Brother Naija (BBNaija) Season 10 contestant, Faith Adewale, has taken delivery of his brand-new ₦38 million Innoson electric car, several weeks after being disqualified from the reality TV show.
Faith, one of the season’s most talked-about housemates, had won the vehicle during a sponsored Innoson task before his exit on October 2, 2025, which followed a heated altercation with fellow contestant Sultana.
Following his disqualification, fans expressed uncertainty about whether he would still receive the prize. However, the show’s organisers later clarified that Faith remained entitled to the reward since he earned it before his removal from the competition.
“Faith won the Innoson task fair and square before leaving the house. The rules remain clear, prizes won before disqualification remain valid,” a source from the production team told reporters.
Faith’s car win took place during the much-publicised Innoson Vehicle Challenge, where housemates competed in a series of endurance and knowledge-based tasks centred on the brand’s electric models.
He emerged winner after defeating fellow finalist Dede Ashigwu, earning the top spot in a competition described by viewers as “gruelling and entertaining.”
Barely 24 hours later, however, Faith’s run on the show came to an abrupt end. Big Brother announced his disqualification following a violent altercation with Sultana, a confrontation that drew significant public backlash and trended on social media for days.
According to reports from Pulse Nigeria and The Punch, the fight escalated during a group task and resulted in property damage, prompting his immediate expulsion from the house.
Despite his removal, fans argued online that the car should still be awarded since the task was completed and verified before the incident.
Weeks after the controversy, Faith was finally seen taking delivery of his Innoson IVM electric car.
The General Manager of Sales Operations at Innoson Vehicles, Obum Osigwe, shared a video on TikTok showing Faith inspecting the vehicle’s digital dashboard and checking its battery level.
Osigwe captioned the clip, “Faith finally picks up his Innoson vehicle. Congratulations.”
In the footage, Faith appeared visibly elated, thanking the automobile company for “honouring the task” and reaffirming his love for electric cars.
Several fans on social media celebrated the gesture, calling it “a win for fairness.” Others said it showed that “effort and merit were not erased by a single mistake.”
Before his exit, Faith had distinguished himself as one of the most competitive housemates of the season, securing multiple task victories and brand partnerships.
In addition to the Innoson win, he earlier claimed the SuperKomando Challenge, another major brand-sponsored task that earned him cash and product rewards. His performances made him a fan favourite, even though his temperament later drew controversy.
While some viewers criticised his aggressive outburst, others have praised the organisers for handling the situation with transparency and still rewarding merit.
