The album, released on Friday, August 14, 2026, includes collaborations with Wizkid, Rema, UK artiste Kwn, Theodora, and American singer Leon Thomas, marking another significant stage in the Mavin singer’s career.
Wizkid features on ‘Gimme Dat’, while Rema appears on ‘Who’s Dat Girl’, bringing together two of Nigeria’s leading Afrobeats stars on Ayra Starr’s latest project.
The album also features Kwn on ‘Amazing’, Theodora on ‘Ms. Paper’ and Leon Thomas on ‘Pressure’, giving the project a blend of Nigerian and international musical collaborations.
‘Starr Girl’ also includes several songs that Ayra Starr had released before the album’s arrival. These include ‘Tornado’, ‘Hot Body’, ‘Where Do We Go’, ‘Letter To God’ and ‘Misunderstood’, which are now part of the 16-track project released to fans.
The new album comes two years after Ayra Starr’s second studio album, ‘The Year I Turned 21’. It also arrives three years after her debut album, ‘19 & Dangerous’, which established the singer as one of the prominent young voices in Nigeria’s rapidly expanding Afrobeats scene.
The release of Starr Girl represents another step in Ayra Starr’s musical development following the international success of some of her biggest songs. Her catalogue includes ‘Rush’ and ‘Commas’, two tracks that have helped strengthen her profile beyond Nigeria and contributed to her growing international audience.
