Adekunle Gold gifts iPhone 17, features BBNaija stars Imisi, Mensan in ‘Many People’ video

Afrobeats star Adekunle Gold has once again captured public attention with his latest music video, ‘Many People’, featuring Big Brother Naija Season 10 winner, Imisi, and her fellow housemate, Mensan.

The collaboration has sparked excitement across social media. The development follows a series of interactions between the singer and the reality TV stars that began during the just-concluded season of the popular reality show.

Adekunle Gold had been vocal in his support for Imisi and Mensan while they were in the house, often engaging with fan posts and praising their creativity. His interest in the show became more visible when he performed at the grand finale on October 5, 2025, the same night Imisi was crowned the winner.

Shortly after the show ended, Adekunle Gold made headlines for gifting Imisi a brand-new iPhone 17 Pro Max.

Imisi, who shared the news on Snapchat, expressed gratitude for the singer’s generosity, calling it an “unexpected blessing.”

The gift, reportedly worth between ₦2.7 million and ₦3.8 million, stirred conversation online, with many describing it as a symbolic act of encouragement to a young star stepping into the limelight.

Now, the relationship between the trio has taken a creative turn with the release of behind-the-scenes clips from the ‘Many People’ music video. The footage shows Adekunle Gold, Imisi, and Mensan sharing laughter and dancing during the shoot, giving fans a glimpse of what to expect.

Fans have since taken to social media to celebrate the collaboration. “From singing his songs inside the Big Brother house to being in his music video, Imisi’s story is proof that grace is real,” one fan wrote on X.

Another added, “Adekunle Gold is not just promoting music; he’s giving platforms to those who deserve it. This is what true mentorship looks like.”

The collaboration comes as part of the promotional rollout for Adekunle Gold’s latest album, ‘Fuji Sealift’, released earlier in October. The album, a bold fusion of Afrobeats and Fuji influences, marks a new chapter in the artist’s musical evolution.

With ‘Many People’ now gaining attention even before its official video release, the singer appears to be combining storytelling and community engagement in a way that resonates with fans.

For Imisi and Mensan, the appearance in the video adds another milestone to their post-BBNaija success. Since leaving the house, both have enjoyed a surge in online following and brand partnerships, signalling a promising start to their entertainment careers.
