Nollywood actress and filmmaker Toyin Abraham has declared that nobody can take her place or stop her progress, days after her lawyers issued a cease-and-desist notice over alleged defamatory publications against her.
Abraham made the declaration in a post shared on X on Friday where she expressed confidence in God’s plan for her life and vowed to continue rising despite opposition.
Her statement came a day after her solicitors, Whitestone Solicitors and Consultancy, issued a legal notice dated November 5, warning against the alleged publication and circulation of false, misleading, and defamatory statements about her.
In the post, the actress described herself as someone whose destiny could not be altered by opposition, insisting that her voice, opportunities, and achievements would remain protected by God.
She wrote: “Emi Oluwatoyin, no one will take my place, and no one will stop what God has ordained for my life. I shall keep rising, soaring higher, and moving forward. I will not fall. I will not fail. I will not be shaken, and I will not be defeated.”
Abraham further declared that the opportunities she had received through God’s grace would remain open, expressing determination to keep progressing in her personal and professional life.
“Every door God has opened for me shall remain open. My light will not go dim, my voice will not be silenced, and my glory will not be exchanged,” she added.
The actress also described God as her shield, strength, defender and ever-present help, saying she remained covered by His grace, guided by His wisdom and sustained by His power.
The declaration followed the legal notice issued by Whitestone Solicitors and Consultancy. The law firm reportedly acted on behalf of the actress over what it described as the publication and circulation of false, misleading, and defamatory statements against her.
