TikTok stars Habeeb Hamzat, popularly known as Peller, and Amadou Elizabeth Aminata, widely known as Jarvis, have officially tied the knot in Lagos.
Their white wedding, held on Saturday, attracted widespread attention across social media, where fans, fellow content creators and celebrities closely followed the event, making #JP2026 one of the country’s top trending topics. The wedding marked the latest milestone in a relationship that has unfolded largely in the public eye.
The couple had earlier completed their civil wedding before hosting the white wedding in Lagos, following weeks of anticipation generated by a cinematic announcement shared on their social media platforms.
The video, which ended with the inscription “Jarvis & Peller 01-08-2026,” sparked thousands of reactions and heightened excitement among supporters eager to witness the occasion.
Shortly before the ceremony, Peller shared an emotional message on Instagram, celebrating the beginning of their married life together.
“Today, we become one. Two tribes, one love. Two families, one forever. A new chapter begins and forever starts now,” he wrote.
Peller and Jarvis have risen to become two of Nigeria’s most recognisable digital creators through their comedy skits, prank videos and relationship-focused livestreams on TikTok. Over the past two years, they have built a strong online following, with their content consistently generating millions of views and frequently trending across TikTok, X and Instagram.
Their growing popularity has also translated into endorsement deals, brand collaborations and appearances at major entertainment and social events.
The journey to marriage gathered momentum in June when Peller proposed to Jarvis during a romantic event at La Palm Royal Beach Hotel in Accra, Ghana. The proposal quickly went viral, attracting widespread reactions from supporters who had followed the couple’s relationship online.
Later that month, he travelled to Benin City, Edo State, where he formally met Jarvis’ family for the traditional introduction and bride price payment, signalling the couple’s commitment to taking the relationship to the next stage.
Before the Lagos ceremony, the pair also completed their civil wedding on Wednesday, paving the way for the white wedding that has since dominated conversations on social media.
