Veteran Nollywood actor Chiwetalu Agu has celebrated his wife while urging people in relationships to cherish partners who remain by their side through life’s changing seasons.
Sharing an emotional message on his Instagram page, the actor described such companions as God’s gift and expressed deep appreciation to his wife for her unwavering love, support, and commitment throughout their marriage.
In a heartfelt tribute, Agu thanked his wife for choosing to walk life’s journey with him, saying she has remained his greatest blessing, source of strength, confidant and answered prayer through both joyful and difficult moments.
The actor reaffirmed his love for his wife, declaring that he would choose her repeatedly if given the opportunity, while highlighting the importance of loyalty and steadfastness in marriage.
The Nollywood star also used the opportunity to appreciate everyone who celebrated his wife’s birthday and sent her goodwill messages. According to him, he and his wife were deeply grateful for the prayers, kind words and thoughtful gestures they received, praying that God would abundantly reward everyone who took time to honour her special day.
Agu encouraged people to value relationships built on commitment rather than convenience, emphasising that anyone blessed with a partner who remains faithful through every stage of life should treasure such a person because they are a divine gift.
Agu reflected on the challenges they had overcome together, particularly during the period when he battled illness. He praised his wife for refusing to abandon him during that difficult time, noting that she stood firmly by his side, cared for him and carried the family’s responsibilities with remarkable courage and grace.
His consistent public expressions of affection for his wife have become a recurring theme on his social media platforms.
Last year, Agu won praise after posting a video of himself washing his wife’s hair, saying the gesture reflected the reality that genuine love still exists. He used the moment to pray that other marriages would flourish like his and encouraged single people to choose the right life partners.
