Peller reveals he was meant to be in Sam Larry’s car before fatal Lagos crash

Nigerian TikTok star Peller has revealed that he was supposed to be in the vehicle involved in Sam Larry’s recent road accident, describing the development as a moment that convinced him God spared his life.

Sam Larry was involved in a road accident earlier this month along the Lagos-Calabar Coastal Highway in Lagos. The vehicle carrying him and his bouncer reportedly collided with a trailer, leaving the car extensively damaged.

While Sam Larry survived the crash, his bouncer died from injuries sustained in the accident.

Speaking during an appearance on the Honest Bunch Podcast, the content creator also recounted spending four days in police custody, where he claimed to have recorded evidence of alleged police harassment on his phone.

According to Peller, he and Sam Larry had planned to visit someone at a hotel on the day the accident occurred. However, those plans changed because he was in prison at the time.

Reflecting on the incident, he said he now believes his detention prevented him from being in the vehicle when the crash happened.

The TikTok personality further alleged that while he was in custody, he documented what he described as police harassment. He claimed officers later pleaded with him to delete the evidence stored on his phone.

Peller’s latest revelations come as preparations continue for his wedding to fellow TikTok creator Jarvis. Last week, the couple announced that they would tie the knot on August 1, 2026, sharing the news through a behind-the-scenes video from a wedding-themed production that showed them joking and arguing on set while crew members looked on.

Ahead of the ceremony, Peller disclosed that he had been attending private traditional pre-marriage counselling sessions in the Ikorodu area of Lagos. He explained that the sessions were intended to help him understand how to treat Jarvis well and become a better husband after marriage.
