Nigerian nightlife entrepreneur and socialite Cubana Chief Priest has on social media compared himself and his wife, Angelica Okechukwu, to global music power couple Jay Z and Beyoncé.
The celebrity barman made the declaration while sharing loved-up photographs of the pair on his Instagram page, describing them as the “Jay Z and Beyoncé of ndi Owerri.”
The Instagram post showcased affectionate moments between the couple. The latest declaration is another chapter in the couple’s public display of affection, which has become a recurring feature of their relationship.
In April, when Cubana Chief Priest marked his birthday, Angelica described him as the love of her life and her warrior king. She praised him for his unwavering love, sacrifices and commitment to their family, while thanking him for consistently standing by them and providing support through the years.
Earlier in January, Cubana Chief Priest celebrated his wife’s birthday in an unusual way by releasing a song dedicated to her. Alongside the musical tribute, he shared heartfelt words about their marriage, expressing optimism that the next decade of their lives together would be filled with even greater love and happiness.
Cubana Chief Priest has also spoken publicly about the challenges his marriage has faced. During one of his wife’s birthday celebrations, he revealed that there were attempts by critics to damage their relationship but said those efforts ultimately failed. He credited divine intervention for preserving their marriage despite the pressures that accompanied his growing fame.
The businessman also recalled receiving valuable marital advice from his longtime associate, Obi Cubana. According to him, Obi once cautioned him against mistreating his wife, a warning he said transformed his perspective on marriage and strengthened his commitment to treating Angelica with love and respect.
