Priscilla Ojo confident in husband Juma Jux’s fidelity amid pressure

Influencer Priscilla Ojo has said she remains confident in the faithfulness of her husband, Tanzanian singer Juma Jux, despite the temptations often associated with celebrity marriages.

She stressed that trust and discipline form the foundation of their relationship.

Speaking during an interview on the WithChude podcast hosted by media personality Chude Jideonwo, Priscilla addressed recurring concerns about infidelity in the entertainment industry, noting that personal values ultimately determine behaviour in a marriage.

She maintained that while attention from admirers is inevitable for public figures, mutual understanding and self-control remain key, adding that she believes her husband possesses the discipline required to remain committed.

“If he decides to go that route (cheat), it is his decision. But I trust him. He is very disciplined,” she said.

Priscilla acknowledged that being married to a music star comes with unique challenges, particularly the constant attention from fans and admirers. However, she emphasised that discipline and intentional decision-making play a critical role in maintaining fidelity.

“Of course, it’s not easy with women throwing themselves, but it’s his discipline and decision. Don’t get me wrong, some women go to any length, that also happens, but if you both are prayerful and your man is disciplined and knows what he wants, I feel he will be in charge,” she added.

Their union was formalised in 2025 through a series of ceremonies tagged #JP2025, which blended Nigerian and East African traditions.

The celebrations included a traditional engagement in Lagos attended by notable figures in Nollywood, followed by ceremonies in Tanzania hosted by Jux’s family, and a white wedding held in Lagos. Photos and videos from the events gained widespread traction across social media platforms.

Since their marriage, Priscilla and Jux have continued to share glimpses of their personal lives with their followers, documenting travels, milestones, and shared experiences. Their cross-cultural relationship has also drawn attention from audiences in both Nigeria and Tanzania, further strengthening their public profile.

In the interview, Priscilla also reflected on her upbringing, crediting her mother, actress Iyabo Ojo, for instilling values that now guide her approach to relationships. She noted that being raised in a single-parent household shaped her understanding of commitment, responsibility, and trust.
