Peller faces N400 million lawsuit from tour bouncer, bemoans surging legal actions against him

Popular content creator and TikToker, Habeeb Hamzat, widely known as Peller, has raised concerns over what he described as a surge of legal actions targeting him.

The influencer revealed that a former assistant, who worked as a bouncer during his nationwide tour in March, is now seeking N400 million in damages.

In a video shared online, Peller explained that the incident occurred when the bouncer fell from a moving vehicle while on duty during the tour. He said the man received immediate medical attention, with all hospital bills paid for by Peller himself at the time.

Despite this, the bouncer has now filed a lawsuit claiming significant compensation.

Visibly frustrated by the situation, Peller lamented the escalating legal pressures he faces.

“Everybody is suing me, I’m tired. My bouncer from my last state tour is suing me after he fell from a car during the tour. He was rushed to the hospital immediately and I paid all his bill. Now, he’s demanding ₦400 million in damages. E wan use me escape poverty…” he stated.

This latest legal challenge follows a previous case earlier this year, when a woman initiated legal proceedings against Peller over a disagreement at a restaurant in January.

Despite these recurring issues, the influencer continues to engage with fans and create content during his tours, which include visits to several Nigerian states.
